The next topic was the Disability Awareness day at the capitol, February 10. Amy Chappelle volunteered to represent SDAB for this event, handing out brochures and talking with legislators and those in attendance.

As for membership, Mary reported 30 people registered. She stated she would send out letters to those who had not paid dues. Mary has received information from Sharon Lovering in the ACB National office regarding the Affiliate Membership Management System (AMMS) program class for low vision. This system will enhance communicationand keep us up to date with membership for ACB.

The next topic was representation on the Disability Advocacy Network, (DAN). Dave has been filling this spot in the past, meeting via DDN conference approximately every two weeks during legislative session related to disability issues. Lerae and Dawn will serve as contacts and attend the meetings.

The next topic was committee suggestions/assignments. Specific committee assignments are not listed in these minutes.

Next was a discussion of the SDAB website. Dave does not have the password that was originally used. He is working with another friend regarding this matter so that the website may be updated.

The next topic was a brief discussion of attendance at the ACB national convention in Minneapolis. It is hoped that SDAB will have a good representation this year.
